pitch decks built on my slide structure*

Founders and VCs

I've worked both sides of the table

I design pitch decks the way engineers write systems.  ‍
‍

An investor scans a deck in seconds. Either the core argument pops instantly, or the deck is closed. My 10 years in design combined with a technical IT background taught me one thing: code fails loudly the moment the structure is wrong. For me, information design follows the same lawsthe structure first, and the slide stops needing an explanation.

Problem

Most pitch decks lose
during a fast scan

An investor scans your deck in seconds. They are not reading every word, they are hunting for proof. If the structure forces them to dig, they move on

It reads in four minutes

Investors won't spend time on walls of text when they have dozens of other decks waiting in line

Traction hides on slide nine

Your main proof is pushed to the back behind secondary details. Most investors close the deck long before they reach it

Numbers stuck in a twenty-row table

Nobody analyzes a complex table during a quick scan. Investors miss the metric that matters and move to the next deck

Every slide looks like a template

Standard layouts force your metrics into generic boxes. They hide what makes your business unique and make every deck blur together

Solution: A story an investor can follow

I don't touch your numbers. I change what they're saying

Nothing gets invented. I take the deck you already have, work out what each slide is claiming, give that claim one object strong enough to carry it, and turn everything else down. Same content, same numbers, but read in a different order.

Before
Fintech pitch deck financial slide before the rebuild, titled Fin model KPI
After
The same financial slide after the rebuild, with the profit forecast as a chart

Fintech · Payments · Pre-seed

The problem

A pre-seed company with no revenue yet and a deck that had to raise money anyway. The financial slide was titled “Fin model KPI”, which was a label for a spreadsheet rather than a claim. Five rows and three columns, all the same weight, with actuals and forecast sitting in the same table with nothing to separate them. The one number the whole slide existed for, which was the year the company turns a profit, was on the last line in the same size as headcount.

What I did

Gave the slide back its standard name, so an investor knows where they are in the deck, and put the argument in a callout above the table: profitable in year two. Separated what has happened from what is projected, so the forecast reads as a forecast and the claim stays credible. Reordered the rows so money leads and cost drivers support. Built the profit curve as a chart, because a turning point is a shape, not a row of digits.

Result

An early-stage deck with no traction to show now argues from the quality of its own assumptions rather than apologising for missing numbers. Three tables became three claims, and the funding ask and the forecast finally tell the same story.

How it Works

Five working days,
three fixed points.

You send what you have. We go through it slide by slide and I ask the same question about each one: what is this slide claiming? If a slide has no answer, it's either unnecessary or it's two slides. You leave the call knowing exactly what the deck will contain.
Twelve slides, fully designed. You send one consolidated set of comments within two working days. This is the round where structure can still change, not just colours: if the direction is wrong, this is where you say it.
Your first round is applied and the deck is delivered. Anything left, such as wording, a number that moved, or a layout detail, comes back as one more list and I apply it within two working days. Then the files are yours. You get the editable source, not a locked PDF, so small changes before a meeting don't have to come back to me.

Need it faster?  Rush turnaround from 48 hours.

Priced separately, quoted per project. Compresses the process into one feedback round and pushes other projects down the queue. These are the projects I like most.

FAQ

Questions founders ask before paying

No hidden clauses or vague steps. Here is exactly how the engagement works.

Can you guarantee I'll raise?+
No. Your round depends on your traction, your market, and your timing, not on slide design. What I control is the fifteen seconds an investor gives each of your slides: whether they understand what it's claiming or move on. That's what design decides, and that's what you're buying. Full details are defined in the Terms & Conditions
I need it in two days. Is that real?+
Yes, and it's my favourite kind of work: most of my career was built on decks that were needed yesterday. Rush turnaround starts at 48 hours. It's quoted separately because it compresses the process into one feedback round and pushes other projects down the queue. Send me the date before you assume it's impossible. Rush engagements follow the standard Terms & Conditions
How does payment work?+
50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Work starts when the first invoice is paid: that is what holds your slot. I invoice electronically from an Italian VAT number, so you get a proper fattura your accountant can file. Complete payment schedules are outlined in the Terms & Conditions
Will you sign an NDA?+
Yes, send yours over and I'll sign it before you share anything. If you don't have one, my standard terms already cover confidentiality. Worth knowing either way: real numbers never leave the project. Every figure in the case studies on this page has been changed, and that's true even where the client gave me permission to show the work. I show finished work in my portfolio unless you tell me not to, and you have 30 days after delivery to say so in writing. Review the full IP and privacy terms in the Terms & Conditions
I'm not in Italy. Does the invoice still work?+
Yes, I work with clients in the US, the UK, and across the EU. I invoice from an Italian partita IVA: for EU companies with a valid VAT number it's a reverse-charge invoice, and outside the EU no Italian VAT applies. US companies sometimes ask for a W-8BEN-E form, which I'll send back signed. Your accountant will recognise the format. Invoicing parameters are fully set out in the Terms & Conditions
What if I don't like the draft?+
That's what the two revision rounds are for. Round one lands on Day 3, when structure can still change: send one consolidated list within two working days. Round two comes after final delivery for anything left over, applied within two days. After that the files are closed and yours. Revision boundaries are governed by the Terms & Conditions
What if my content isn't ready?+
It rarely is, and that's normal. Bring whatever exists: an old deck, a memo, a spreadsheet, or notes. The Day 0 call is where we work out what's actually there. What I can't do is invent your numbers. If you can't tell me the figure, it doesn't go on the slide. Scope boundaries are specified in the Terms & Conditions
What language do we work in?+
Calls in English, Italian, or Russian. The deck itself is written in the language of whoever is reading it, usually English, unless you're pitching a local fund. If English isn't your first language, that's often an advantage here: I rewrite the headlines anyway. Service localization terms are included in the Terms & Conditions
